I have done an operation on tonsillectomy on the 10th of January 2013. Discovery Health has not yet paid my hospital bill. I have spoken to one of the consultants by the name of Felicia, and she explained that the reason why the amount of R10, 464.97 has not been paid yet is because the hospital has submitted the claim as sinus surgery instead of tonsillectomy, I then contacted the hospital and they advised that the correct info has been submitted, to my surprise, discovery health still refuses to pay my claim. This is unacceptable as I have sent numerous e-mails regarding this matter, and made several calls too. I have been making follow ups regarding this but they tell me they are working on it. Its been 5 months now and they still have not sorted it out. I really hope that this matter will be attended to ASAP.
