On 07 May 2013 (12:15) I got hospital authorisation for 1 surgical procedure and 2 scopes. Candice a very helpful lady, assisted me and confirmed twice that I did not need to pay any contribution for the scopes as the scopes were to be performed with another procedure that required hospitalisation. Now that it comes to the push and the account needs to be settled, Discovery just plays hard-ball and says that I am liable for a R2 800 contribution. I received a phone call from Discovery at 21:40 this evening telling me that I am liable for the R2 800 and that is it. Is this how Discovery treats all their clients giving hospital authorisation and when it comes to paying, they turn their backs on their clients? Discovery please go and listen to your voice recording as it seems you don't even bother to do so.
