Discovery Vitality & Vitality Mall
How can you call this "helping me"?

Today I was informed of my gym benefit being cancelled. On querying this I was told that I've been informed via email in February that my gym visit requirement will increase by 2 visits a month. Searching my mailbox, I found the mail in my spam folder where this mail was routed to. After questioning why I was not informed to catch up on my visits, Mr Shiraz Pasojee informed me that according to my contract, they don't have to inform me. Vitality's conduct in the past, where they've diligently informed me to catch up my visits suggest otherwise, but how can you inform people of a change in their contract via email, and then not inform them if their close to breaching the contract terms which they've RECENTLY changed? AND which I was not aware of due to it being identified as spam emails? Then Shiraz questions why I didn't visit the gym in the last month... because my newborn son was in hospital for the last 8 weeks (Discovery's been paying the bill?). I've read the mail now: "To help you get to the 36 gym visits, the minimum visit requirements will gradually increase by 2 additional gym visits". How is this "helping me", and you don't inform me as you did in the past? Shame on you!
