I don't expect a satisfactory response to this, as I have already raised the issue with Discovery, with no joy. I would just like to put this out there so that people know who they're dealing with.

I won't bore you with the details, but my days are VERY full. I signed up years ago for the once-off sign up fee for gym access - these contracts are no doubt now costing Discovery dearly. My closest Virgin Active, Tyger Valley (5 mins from home) was closed for months, during which time I was allowed access to any other VA. Due to my busy schedule, I could not add an extra 40 mins traveling time to visit said outlets. Discovery refuse point blank to credit visits for those months. The result? I had to make up visits early this year, going to gym whether sick, busy or stressed. So much for caring about my health. In the last two months of the period, I miscalculated and am 2 visits short, so my contract has been cancelled. Discovery's only response has been that I should have visited another outlet. I don't enjoy being told what to do by my service providers, so I will be bidding you farewell.
