Some time ago I called Momentum about GPs I could use with my student Ingwe Medical plan. DRS NIEUWOUDT AND ASSOCIATES INC at the Intercare Parow was the one I selected from the choice.
I seriously think Momentum should think twice about using them as a service provider. The level of incompetence in the accounts department is astounding!! i Went to use the medical doctor there, an account was sent to me I called Momentum and a lady I spoke to said the account had been rejected as they had used an ICD code for dental work, and not a GP consultation. I called accounts at INTERCARE, and told them they needed to send a correct statement asap to Momentum as I was informed of a time restriction by momentum regarding submission of accounts. She assured me it would be done the same day. I heard nothing until I received the account attached on 20 Jan. Still reflecting the incorrect ICD code!!! Now they are wanting to hand me over as momentum has not settled the account.hundreds of complaints about them and the same issue! How can Momentum use such a dodgey medical provider? This is extremely poor service! I am quite shocked that this medical Aid associates itself with such shady enterprises.
