Our AEG dishwasher went in for repairs with John Lopes, owner of Appliance Tech. The repairs took almost a week and the dishwasher was returned after we phoned to follow up with John. It cost R750. The dishwasher worked for exactly one cycle before it stopped working again. John then screened our calls and either wouldn't answer or would switch off his phone when attempting to contact him. We eventually managed to get hold of him via another number/prospective customer. We arranged several dates for collection and repair and none were met. He finally came 2 months later. He returned the "repaired" dishwasher after 3 weeks and dozens of follow-up calls. Again, the dishwasher worked for 1 cycle and stopped working. John Lopes is a artist. Don't waste your money.
