I bought a then top of the line Samsung Microwave MW6194ST. Sent in twice for unpleasant rattling. Soon the guarantee elapsed the paint inside the oven began peeling off. I took it to a few authorised Samsung Repair centres and the technicians told me that it is a known fault and that the subsequent models now have ceramic interiors for the oven, thus preventing this from happening.
The peeling of the paint as I have been told, is a health concern as it exposes bare metal internals of the microwave oven thus not effectively containing the radiation as intended. I was told to go to LetMeRepair. Samsung has quoted me the same price for a new Microwave off the shelf. How the can you ask me to buy a new microwave when my current one is fully function but has a known hazardous design fault that you are aware of?
Sthembiso of VOC called me, and promises to follow up but never does. The call centre puts you on hold for 45minutes, then they disconnect you, who's suppose to pay for that? He doesn't answer calls. Hire more people.
