Poor quality microwave oven as inside paint peels

I bought a Samsung microwave oven - 3 years ago from Game in the Kolonade Pretoria. The guarantee expired some time ago but now, the paint on the inside of the microwave is peeling off completely leaving the bear metal exposed. Surely the paint on the inside of a microwave of 3 years or even older should not peel off like that as it is powdercoated. In use the oven ONLY to defrost and heat food. I have tried to contact Samsung but was unsuccesfull. Please advise if this is the norm with Samsung microwave ovens
