I went to Dion Wired to purchase an external hard drive today, and after having spoken to a salesperson about the hard drives on display, and being ensured by him that the hard drive would indeed work on my television, I got home to find that it doesn't.

After trying all possible solutions, I found out that the product sold to me (A 1TB Western Digital My Passport External Hard Drive), does in fact NOT work and is NOT compatible with TV's and other such devices via the Western Digital Online Forum.

After having waited at least 15 minutes for the salesperson to confirm whether the hard drive would work or not and being reassured that it will, and all the time spent on trying to get the hard drive to work, only to find out that it doesn't, I'm disgusted at the fact that I paid R1 100 for the purchase of a product that I wasn't looking for!

This is the first time that I have made a purchase from a Dion Wired store and I'm very annoyed and unsatisfied.

I hope that this can be resolved as soon as possible, with the correct product being supplied to me!
