Samsung Pocket Sent away to many times

I got a Samsung Pocket at Vodacom. It was work well for awhile. It started with an error message 'Not Registered To Network'. Only way to fix it was to reboot the phone. I've spoken to a few people with the same phone and all of them got the same problem.
So I took it to Vodacare in Hatfield to be sent for repairs. The phone was sent away three times for the same problem. Later I found out it was the 3G that gave the problem. Every time I switch the 3G off, it works fine.

After the 3rd time, they sent me a new phone (same model), 2 days later I get the same problem. They told me that there is nothing wrong with the phone, it's my sim card that's to old. So I bought a new sim card. the next day I get the same problem again. The people don't listen to me when I tell them it takes while for the problem to start (provided that the 3G and phone is on). they expect that the problem will happen as soon as the phone is started. I am tired of sending my phone away, I don't have time to drive around looking for a Samsung service center for a second opinion. I barely used the, because it's most of the time in the repair center. I already wasted time, money and petrol. I want a other phone
