Service/product not upto standard

Electrolux used to stand for good value and product (years ago) not in this case. I bought a fridge/freezer 6 years ago from Makro. After 21/2 years it just stopped working/ Called Electrolux spoke to several people no-one could help unless I had a gaurantee I would pay for a technician. Someone would get back to me (i am still waiting) found a fridge guy who filled up with gas - the gas had run out there was a fault. Electrolux wanted nothing to do with it. My problem. Now not even 3 years later I am told by the same guy the compressor is not working, R1750 to fix!!! This fridge has cost me more than R1000 per year excluding repairs. Have phoned and held on (7 MINUTES) repeatedly this week to get hold of someone (a Mr Jacobs) i believe. Hilary said he would call back - still waiting. called again today, spoke to Kanisa who would put me through. Got through to 3 different people, one did not even know how to transfer my call- then got cut off. I have a Philco fridge that is over 40 years - no problems!! When my family grew everyone said buy Electrolux good quality. Don"y believe it. Is there anyone who can help me restore Electrolux"s name please!!
