I purchased a iPhone in Melbourne, Australia. Vodacom my service provider refuses to repair the item even though they were quite happy to have the device on their network for more than a year. The Istore at voda world then advised me to send the phone back to Melbourne for repair.
What is the point of having a global market and Apple selling their products globally if the items cannot be serviced / repaired at any venue that the customer happens to require the service?
THis is just another case where big business abuses their position and walks away from providing the requisite service. Perhaps Apple should leave this market if they cannot provide the same level of service anywhere in the world they operate?
I am absolutely disgusted by the reactions of both Vodacom and Apple.
