I have been a strong supporter of Samsung mobile phones since 1999 After all these years of being a happy customer to be on the receiving end of such appalling service leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. On the 3rd January 2014. I took my phone in to Samsung service centre in Roodepoort. The phone kept swiching off or rebooting. I advised the lady that booked my phone in that it wasn't purchased in SA. She said it wasn't a problem and that my phone was still within the warranty period. She took the phone to the back, returned and advised that the fault was related to my motherboard and the repair would be done under warranty. I also told her I was travelling on Sunday and enquired if my phone would be ready by then and she said she is sure it will be. I do not have her name but I am sure you can see who generated the job SA86412 needless to say I have now been sent a quote via emai so i must pay because my phone was not purchased in SA and I spoke to a lady named Catherine on Wednesday the 29th Jan who promised to call me back in 30 minutes with a resolution. Well on the 1st of Februry, still no call, no resolution and no phone. Can I be expected to receive more bad service?
