A year ago I purchased an AEG/Electrolux Essensio vacuum cleaner from Pick n Pay Hyper, Durban. The machine came with 1 bag supplied. When the time came to purchase more bags, I went to the Hyper but they had no stock. These were ordered in for me from Aeg/Electrolux and I duly collected them a week later. I needed to purchase more bags 2 weeks ago and again went to the Hyper. Once again they had no stock and I was told they would be ordered for me and I could expect a call. I never received a call and went to the Hyper again, only to be told they were no longer stocking these bags. I asked them to phone the rep (Nicola) to find out where these bags could be purchased. Her advice was to try Hirsch's or Game. I duly went to these two stores, neither of which stocks the bags. Do I now sit with an obsolete vacuum cleaner and dirty carpets because no-one can tell me who supplies the bags. Would AEG/Electrolux like to buy the machine back, maybe they could use it for spares? At the moment this vacuum cleaner is totally useless to me.
