I have bought 4 expensive built-in Siemens home appliances in one go, when my kitchen was done. Now after 5, 5 years (the warranty is 5 years, of course) 2 appliances break. My built-in coffee machine and an element in my quantumspeed oven. I logged the repair 1x time for the quantumspeed and 2 days later for the coffee machine. Both times I got a sms, but only got 1 reference number. The mechanic that came to my house took the oven out, wanted to put iron parts on my stove without thinking if it might scratch or anything. I told him exactly the same as the call centre. He knew about the coffee machine call as well. He took it out, looked very doubtful and wanted to take it with. It might be dirty inside. Well we had already done that with a special screwdriver to open the thing. for it We didn't give him the coffee machine. We got another mechanic after we phoned and spoke to Jack in CT. We sent if off to him. If he would have repaired everything, it would be R 12000! IF ALL PARTS WOULD STILL HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE!!! After all it is already 5 yrs old. I Spoke to Lyle to talk about the whole ordeal. Both Lyle (3x) and Collings promised to call back. A week later, still waiting.
