I am a renovations specialist. I recommended purchase of AEG to a client for her kitchen, who spent over R 100, 000.00. After 6 weeks, no-one from AEG Gauteng is able to demo the products. I have spent hours on the phone with different AEG employees over 5 weeks, was promised resolution, but to no avail. AEG sent three technicians out to client and none were able to demo anything. The first technician did not pitch and then the next day arrived late. He said he could not explain anything and promised to send another technician to demo steam oven, coffee machine, under-counter oven and convection microwave. Coffee machine was faulty, was replaced and new one is now faulty! I am still unable to find anyone in Johannesburg to demo the products. My client cannot use any AEG appliance properly. Last straw: technician who installed new coffee maker arrived at client during the late afternoon and was asked to leave at 18h45 so that my client could prepare dinner. He called me saying he was irate because the client "kicked him out". Client spent R 22000 on a coffee machine and still has not had a cup of coffee! As a professional renovator, I am extremely embarrassed to have dealt with AEG.
