The LCD on my Samsung S3 cracked and I went to SmartLab on Wednesday (25 Sept '13) to see if they could fix it. Annahliah checked the phone and said they could and that it was under warranty. The phone would be sent to Cape Town and i'd have it back in 7 days time. I called them on the 1 October to check on my phone and i was told that it was in Cape Town - as soon as it arrives i will be called. Shortly after the call i received an sms quoting me R2 764 for the repair because they can't fix it under warranty. I called Annahliah immediately and asked her what's going on because she said it would be fixed under warranty. She told me that her system said it would be fix under warranty but she's not sure why. The phone was only sent to Cape Town to check if the phone could be fixed. Thats the most ridiculous thing ever. The LCD needed to be replaced! Surely Annahliah could've told me this ONE DAY ONE! This service is pathetic!
