This company installed an air conditioner unit that worked for about 2 months. When I finally got someone round to check it, they serviced it and topped it up with gas without my knowledge, tried to charge me for it, and admitted afterwards that that was not going to fix the problem.
The problem persisted and months later I succeeded in getting someone out to check. They told me the unit was in the wrong position. (not high enough)
They refuse to move the unit at their own cost. After admitting that it does not work because it was installed in the wrong place, they still refuse to take responsibility.
The work was shoddy, the brand (Luxaire) useless and the company took no responsibility for installing a faulty unit incorrectly. I am now still left with no working air conditioner after R8k spent.
This is one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had. My advice: never buy a Luxaire/York. Never use Humidity Control. They are bandits and essentially.
