We have an ADT alarm system and from the time it was installed, it has never worked properly. The signal unit was change and the control room still isn't getting the signal when the alarm is trigged. We have complained and had a tech come out more than 4 times. The unit that was installed is old. Whats the point of paying for a service that does not work. Now ADT claims we must pay for a tech call out fee which we refuse. An old and faulty system was installed so why should we have to fit the bill. We have proof of all the times a tech to come through and on all occasions we didnt pay - so why now. If our home is burgled and the control center does not get the signal I will sue ADT for all loses incurred because this is a clear violation of the customer protection act!
