UPS DUCKS RESPONSIBILITY OF Clients GOODS

Please find the following situation that your company UPS courier company has placed me in.
Overview. 1Z590w2w0448668292 / 04185195
1) An Audi ABS break system control unit was sent overseas with another courier company to a British company for checking and service.
2) This unit arrived in Britain and was serviced and found to be in good working order.
3) The service charge was 60 sterling, plus the UPS shipment cost.
This was then packed into a suitable cardboard box .wrapped with large strong air bubble wrapping to protect the unit.
The unit was collected By UPS Britain. Leaving Britain and the service provider in 100% working order.
The parcel arrived at our offices and the cardboard box was punctured and had many holes in the box the box was flattened to the extent it looked like paper. The bubble protection inside the box was reduced to flattened plastic.
As for the unit it is an aluminium block with a Nylon control unit attached to the bottom with 4 screws. The aluminium corners of the block were dented and the control unit broken on one end.
What treatment has to take place to achieve such damage?
This saga started on the 29th of October 2013 Take responsibility
