Faulty Geyser control unit

I am a tenant in a house where a geyser control unit from Global Carbon was installed earlier this year. In April after a power failure the unit no longer functioned correctly and the batteries were replaced. This lasted less than a month and at the next power failure we were told they were waiting for delivery of a new system and have heard nothing since. Since then I have had to switch the geyser on manually to heat any water, resulting in me having to get up every morning at about 4:00 am to ensure that I have hot water for my morning bath. My landlord has been trying to have the situation rectified but to date with no results despite having numerous communications with the supplier. As the installation of the unit was a major expense and the product DOES NOT WORK, and having had no satisfactory response from the supplier although the product is still being advertised on radio Pretoria I feel my only channel open to me is to place my problem on record here
