I bought a Philips food processor about 9 or 10 months ago (lost the receipt), primarily for the mixer. The second time I used the mixer a plastic part inside it broke. I had to scrounge around to find where I would find a replacement part but found out I had to buy the entire mixer attachment. It had to be ordered and I waited many weeks, had to pay for the attachment plus postage and the first time I used the new mixer attachment it broke again. Same problem. A flimsy little plastic piece is what determines whether the attachment works or not.

Reported this to Philips South Africa but no response from them. I'm back to using a cheap little hand mixer I bought from Checkers which will last years longer than this expensive food processor. Not impressed.
