In July 2013 I bought a milkshake maker from Daddys deals for R399 - they said the real price was R1099. I paid for it 1 August and when I opened my delivery I was shocked to see a plastic coated item with only the cup being metal and the electroplate. The picture made it look 100% stainless steel and the price conveyed the same impression. This is what I wrote them

On the 1st of this month, I bought the above-mentioned item on your website. To all intents and purposes I expected a stainless steel product - not the silver - sprayed plastic junk I received.
The deal said that the mixer was R1099 and I would pay R399 for it. I went for it - and lo and behold!! When I received my mixer it was plastic trash!!
I am bitterly disappointed in this, my first online purchase - its left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I don't think I will ever trust this mode of purchase again.
They are now disputing that they had misrepresented yet when they searched for a replacement they said theyd found the same Sunbeam product for R299 - and they charged R399?? what about the R1099 it supposedly orignally cost??
