I visited the Samsung store at the Gateway mall on 23September to update the software on my phone. When I inquired about this the man in charge of updates was busy with another customer and requested I leave my number and that he would call me in an hour when he was done. After waiting 1 and a half hours without receiving a call I returned to the shop to enquire if my software could be updated. The update guy then told me that there was another customer, which he did not mention earlier, that needed software updates. When I asked how long I would have to wait he told me he did not know and that I should have a seat and wait till he was done or I could leave and go to another Samsung store. I then told him that I had already been waiting 1.5hrs and I need to know how much longer I would have to wait to which he replied he had no idea. The store manager the stepped in and without apologizing also told me that I either wait an indeterminate amount of time or go to another store. Having been frustrated in this way for about 15min I left without the software being updated.
This is absolutely pathetic customer service Samsung, cannot believe level of service offered at this store
