In the last four years I have owned three garmin FR60 watches. Each one stopped working just after the 12 month warranty expired. I do not view it as a coincidence that three of the exact same products stopped working just as the warranty expired. On the first two occassions I returned the watch and was informed that due to the warranty having expired they cannot replace the watch but they can offer me a new watch at a discounted price. On the most recent occassion I was informed that the watch had been replaced as the warranty had just expired. Upon collecting the watch I discovered that the watch had not been replaced which means that the person from Garmin who phoned me to me over the phone. The watch then worked for approximately three weeks before stopping again. I do not think I will be buying any more Garmin products as it is obvious they want you to buy a brand new product every single year.
