I sent my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone in for a SCREEN REPAIR on 15 July 2013. On 3 August 2013 the phone was returned to me by Altech Autopage. Although the screen was fixed, the contents of my phone was deleted?!?!
The sales person at Altech Festival Mall told me that he doesn't know why my phone was completely wiped as a previous customer also received his phone back after a screen repair & that all his contacts, pictures etc was still on his phone.
I never sent my phone in for a software problem, so why delete all the contents if only a screen repair has to be done? Perhaps this was done on purpose by Samsung... SPITEFUL perhaps!?! I was never informed that this might happen. If I had known, I would have saved all my phone numbers, pictures etc on my spare phone. Even all my "apps" are gone! But no, once again the customer is the!
This is totally unacceptable! I regret buying this phone & I don't even have the desire to set-up the phone again & use it. I just left it in the box. I definitely wouldn't recommend any Samsung product to anyone or buy any Samsung product in future.
So much for Samsung having a well-known reputation - PATHETIC!!!
