On 20.12.2011 I purchased my second LG Dishwasher from House and Home. I immediately reported to the Salesperson concerned that the machine as a fishy smell and is damaging my dishes turning my glass a milky white. I was told my the salesperson that it is normal for the machine to smell, it takes a couple of washes to "come right". I found this strange as prior to this I had a DEFY Dishwasher for 20 years with no smell. The salesperson told me to continue using the machine. I went back to the store and the Store was closed down. I have since been trying to complain to no avail. Eventually I have discovered that my serial number belonged to Three other people, the only explanation being that this was not a Brand new machine.
This is absolutely disgusting, The dishes have to be washed at least three times in the machine to be clean. However it still stinks.
LG ELECTRONICS need to REPLACE this machine immediately. I intend taking a photo of the dishes that have been washed, a photo off all my dishes that have been damaged, a photo of the Dishwaser and putting it on all advertising boards and the media to warn the public of the famous LG BRAND.
