No Spares!

I discovered today that LG no longer sells spare parts to private individuals, only to businesses that have accounts, so my choices are as follows, get a LG service call out and pay R548.94 plus VAT for the spare part plus the R450.00 call out fee and first hour of labor, job will take about 90 minutes so I will have to pay for another hours labor and they only work weekdays and the cannot give you a time or guarantee that they will actually pitch on the days they state, since we both work during the day this does present a bit of a problem or purchase the spare part from TECSA and pay R714.05 plus VAT. Makes me think that when I renew this appliance it certainly will not be with another LG.
