I dropped my Samsung S3 and cracked the screen. Went to the brand new Samsung Service Centre in Roodepoort and they quoted R1800 and 1 day to fix. A few days later, on enquiring, they said I did not accept the quote. On investigation we found that they had loaded the incorrect email addie. Problem 1: I dont understand why they needed an additional acceptance if i accepted the R1800 quote when the phone was handed in! Anyway, the quote was then "accepted" via email. Problem 2: It has now been 2 weeks and I still dont have my phone. Problem 3: You just cant get a straight answer out of any of the people at this branch.
Very dissapointed with the service. Truth of the matter is this is the first Samsung handset I have ever owned and it will be the last. I was also intending to upgrade my Ipad for a Samsung tablet but wont be doing that any longer!
It would be great if Samsung could assist with this as the people in your Service Centre dont seem to care.
