I bent a pin in the SIM Card slot on my tablet. I took it to Samsung to request that they bend it straight. Of course they said the slot had to be replaced. I was given a verbal quote of R350.00. I said OK and left it with them to repair.
I receives a call this afternoon from them. I was very pleased that they had repaired it and I was to collect it!
They were phoning to ask whether I accepted the quote that they had e-mailed me. I told them I had accepted the verbal quote of R350.00 they had given me on the day I gave them the Tablet. I was then told that the quote was R450.00, and they had not started working on it yet. I was transferred to another person who said it was R350.00 plus VAT. Who quotes prices without VAT to private people?? And then don't tell them VAT is extra? I told them to repair for the R350.00 plus VAT
I received the quote on e-mail tonight!! R450.00 PLUS VAT!!!
I am very unhappy with Samsung Repair Centre.
I have always been loyal to them Have a laptop, TV, Tablet and 2 cell phones!!
I am wondering if I should rather change my allegiance.
