My brother was offered conditional placement for Bachelor of Acc Science last year and he accepted the offer. Now when the matric results were released the status of his application was changed to under consideration. We have been calling and emailing wits from the 6th of January to date and no-one seems to know what is going on. Every single day we are told we will know by the end of the day what status of his application is. He received a thuthuka bursary to study at wits and should Wits decide to longer grant him a place, he will forfeit his bursary and no-one seems to care about the fact that this could mean he might not be able to further his studies. He met all the admission requirements so I don't understand what could be causing this extremely frustrating delay.
