Im a second year student who applied to change degrees into Bachelor of Accounting science in 2013. After speaking to my faculty i was told that I may register for the second year subject and can do 2 first year subjects through Wits plus so that i may complete my degree in the normal amount of time. After going to the wits plus reception i was told that i need to first register for my degree before may apply. My registration was meant to be on 4 February 2013 however i went for an early registration on 26 Jan, I went back to wits plus on 31 January only to be told that they are full and cannot take me in. Now i possibly have to spend a whole year doing 2 subjects due to misinformation and bad administration at wits.
