Unisa
Registration 2013/Matric Exemption

I've been a part time LLB student for 5 years at UNISA up to date. On 4 December 2012 I registered early for the new year to avoid the rush. Up to date my registration is still not confirmed (24.1.2013).

After numerous attempts to get to the relevant department to find out what the outstanding documents are, I was told that I need to pay matric exemption fees of R400 (again). This itself is rather strange as mentioned with my first registration 5 years ago, all documentation and fees were paid. I paid the R400 on 14 January 2013.

Yesterday I received a letter from Unisa indicating that I now need to re-submit the same original documentation again.

The contact telephone number on the letter does not work (012 429-4150) and no response has been received from the e-mail address [email protected].

My registration money has been paid but no attempt from Unisa to clear out the reasons why I need to resubmit for matric exemption received. I don't know why and where and how and are very frustrated with this situation.
