My Grandmother passed away on the 11th of November, just a few days before I was due to write my final exam of the semester. Of course, with an event like this I wasn't really thinking straight and I managed to book my plane flight to the funeral for the same time as my exam - something I only discovered on the day when I arrived at the exam venue on the 15th and realised I'd got the time wrong. Distraught, I raced home and applied online for an aegrotat exam using the form provided.
My registration for 2013 went smoothly for the first time in 6 years - my registration letter included the subject which's exam I'd missed - MNM3036. I thought all was well - so I was very, very unpleasantly surprised when I logged onto my.unisa this past Sunday and discovered that I'd been deregistered from MNM3036!
Of course, I sent a fresh email to [email protected], but aside from the pointless automated response I've received sweet eff all in reply and my registration for MNM3036 has still not been reinstated!
This is supposed to be my final year if I can write three exams a semester, but without this registration I'm freaking out a little!
