Refusing to change debit date

I contacted Intec on the 28-05-2013 and requested them to change my debit from the 25-06-2013 to the 03-07-2013 as I will only be getting paid on the last day of the month. I spoke to an agent named Thami who assured me that he will escalate the matter to the accounts department for feedback. He then contacted me later in the day and informed me that the accounts department requires a letter from my company stating that I will be getting paid on the last day of the month. I asked Thami that my company has nothing to do with my studies and the change in the payment date should not concern them. I then asked Thami if I was not working and requested a change in the debit date what letter would they require, he answered with no letter and the date would be changed. My company does not pay for my studies and thus the change in the date should not affect them in any way. THE REASON FOR NOT CHANGING MY DEBIT DATE IS PATHECTIC. IF MY DATE IS NOT CHANGED AND I GET A REJECTED DEBIT ORDER FEE I WILL HOLD INTEC LIABLE FOR THAT PAYMENT. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE DEBIT HAS BEEN CHANGED FOR EXPECT TO PAY.
