I am changing jobs this month and my salary date has changed. I phoned Capitec and asked them to change my debit order date but the lady I spoke to said I must request a letter from HR and take it to one if their branches and they will change the date for me. When I got to the Brooklyn branch they took the letter and said they can't help me as they need a payslip from my new employer. They said the debit order to my cheque account at fnb will still go through on the old date until I bring the new payslip which I don't have yet. When the debit order hit my fnb account I informed fnb about this and requested that they reverse it as my salary hasn't come through yet. The debit order was reversed by fnb and today Capitec decided to take money from my Capitec Savings account without even a warning. My new salary date is now at the end of the month and not on the 15th anymore and I don't understand why they do not listen. Each person I speak to at Capitec has a different explanation
