Provider arrived 12th February. Replaced refrigerator's thermostat as it was running at 10C (should be between 1 and 4). I told him to check that it is cooling properly, but told me he is going to leave right now, and demanded immediate payment of R600. I asked him what else could be wrong if it was not the thermostat - he was unable to tell me, and insisted that it was the thermostat. Six hours later refrigerator was running at 18 C. I phoned again early next day. Provider came back and replaced the thermostat again. After that he was aggressive and accused me of breaking the one that he fitted the previous day. After fitting the new thermostat, refrigerator was still running at 10 C. Provider did clearly not knowing what he was doing, because when I phoned him again, he still insisted that it was the thermostat. Phoned other providers, who told me that it could be one of several problems. I subsequently phoned provider twice, asking that he comes back to fix. Since has blatantly ignored us, disappeared with our money. I must specifically mention that this provider's client manner is exceptionally unprofessional. Now stuck with this pathetic provider, food going stale.
