I had purchased a drill bit (Ruwag) from builders warehouse on the 26 October 2013 the sales man named pakamani had told me that another customer had returned the bit the same day because it had broken and they gave the customer a REFUND.Pakamani was hesitant to sell it.
My plumber had used the drill bit that night FOLLOWING all instructions on the packaging as well as the salesman. The bit had broken before he could even drill a hole.
The next day on the 27 October 2013 I returned with the bit and the till slip to builders warehouse. The manager then told me that he cannot return it and gave me excuses. He then went on to show how to use a drill in a condescending tone. I feel that all customers are treated differently
And that they are not living up to their Exchange and Refund Policy
