On the 19th of January I handed in my Ryobi drill to be repaired after the chuck shattered. It was well under a year old but the slip that was given to me had faded to white and was unreadable. I was told that the drill would be collected by Ryobi on the following Thursday and then will take a maximum of 21 days to repair but never does take that long. I inquired at the Builder's branch on the 22nd day only to be told that the part is still being awaited by Ryobi. I then explained that I require my drill for my business which is small but supports me and my home. I was told nothing can be done and that I must simply wait. I have waited a further week but find myself in dire financial striates. I have been offered no compensation, nor any attempt at problem solving. I demand restitution at this stage as I am struggling to make ends meat.
