I had an insurance claim for damage to my property, the insurance asked Majuba to quote and I got a quote from a contractor i trusted. Majuba quoted R6000 less than my contractor and the insurance obviously paid the Majuba quote forcing me to use Majuba or pay an additional R6000.
Majuba completed the work in more than enough time with several issues during the process and no supervision during the day. After this they asked us to sigh the acceptance letter for the insurance and that we have a 3 year guarantee on the workmanship.
We then started to notice faults as we started using the bathroom again. Upon advising them about these they responded by saying "An average person would be happy with the job and the amount paid by the insurance (which they quoted) i could not expect a better result. Basically refusing to fix it to a good quality standard.
These guys dont have the skill to do a proper job and under quote to get the job, then blaming the low amount paid for bad quality work!!!
