I had a "burst" geyser and broken thermostat 6 weeks ago which caused leakage of boiling hot water into ceiling, damaged the copper pipes as well damaged the ceiling itself. This occurred at 04h00 and First For Women Insurance only managed, after many phone calls, to get somebody there at 17h00 to assess the damage and stop the water flowing. This person could not fix the problem and in the meantime I still had no running water. I eventually managed to get an emergency plumber who could fix it at 19h30 but had to pay for it myself and have still not got money back from insurance company even though repairs were more than excess and was done by reputable plumber who works with many insurance companies. Since then I have been trying to get damage fixed and have been unsuccessful. First for Women does not return calls, they have not authorized contractor to do work even though he has been out twice and quoted twice as the damage is extending. Not only that, they blatantly to me saying that the contractor that came today (12/10/2013 and 1, 5 hrs late)! would be able to repair it today if quote was acceptable but the contractor knew nothing about this and doesn't do any work on a Sat
