Basically my bonnet is not closing. A claim was logged with Budget and the car went for an assessment. I was told by Khensani in claims that the cost to fix was less than my excess and was advised to go to the panel beaters where the quote came from with the quote and they were going to fix the car for that amount. The panelbeaters are now not accepting this as they claim the cost is more than what they quoted for! Khensani is now avoiding my calls. i was helped by someone else who had now said that I must get another quote from the panelbeaters to get a quote and whatever the price is they will remove the excess amount and i must pay the rest!! This is fustrating as I have to be the one running around to sort out something that the Insurance messed up with and then still stuck with the balance of the bill!!! As the consumer right I should be paying the first amount that I was quoted for!! Not now a different amount! I've never had a problem with Budget before but this is really dissappointing!
