I paid the Pool Team R750 to come and change the sand in my filter. I was hoping that by paying this higher price from a known provider (I had been quoted R500 by a guy with his own business), I would not have hassles. However, somehow when they changed the sand they nicked the breather pipe which meant that a large amount of water was spurted out of the pool while the filter was on. THe guy came back to look and tried to fix it but was unsucessful and after he left I discovered that the pipe was still leaking. I phoned back and they said it would cost me R350 to replace it. I told them not to worry and went and bought one myself for R38 from another pool shop. What a hassle! I just can't understand why they did not take responsibility and replace the pipe. Then they would have had a happy customer for the cost of R38 instead of someone that will never go back to THe Pool Team shope again.
