I was called to bring my ID document to come collect my refund when I got there the store manager told me that I need to produce the proof of payment and my ID. After doing that I was then told to go to my bank to get my bank statement as I was suspected for doing with their employee Masego.
I felt that the store manager really insulted me as a black customer! It was a really disapointing and a kind of service from Cashbuild after spending more than 200k buying material from them in the past 2years. I told Leon to keep the R1000 refund as it would cost me more to be running around as instructed by them.
Cashbuild has lost a customer due to poor service delivery and taking other races for granted and I hope my R1000 makes a difference in their lives.
