Matrix Warehouse Computers
AVOID HELPING THE CUSTOMER

On 6 January 2013 I was sold a Philips LED 23" monitor by Matrix Warehouse Group. I used it for a few days but then blue and red dots appeared all over the screen. Unfortunately I didn't return the monitor within 7 days and demand my money back, but continued using it hoping that the dots would disappear. Eventually I returned the monitor to the Durban branch on 21 January 2013.

Four of Matrix's staff attempted to get rid of the dots without success. I was told that the monitor would have to be sent away for a warranty claim. This would take from 7 to 21 working days. As Matrix was unable to provide me with a loan monitor I would be without a computer for this period.

Earlier today I 'phoned Matrix to find out what was happening with my monitor. I was told that it was still with Matrix in Johannesburg and had not been sent to Philips.

When I asked for the process to be speeded up I was again told it could take up to 21 working days. I advised that I intended to publicise Matrix's service and was told "go ahead, any publicity is good".
