Acer sends back faulty laptop

My laptop went in to have the motherboard replaced. I received it back on Tuesday morning, very happy that it was fixed. When I switched on my laptop, I discovered that the touchpad does not work, and it's performing a right click action the whole time. Cannot open anything as it keeps on automatically clicking. I have phoned Acer, who apologized, and said that they would send an On Site Technician out to me the same day. Now I'm being told that they have to order parts and it can take 5 to 10 working days.

I've been told on a few occasions that Acer will phone me back and give me status updates, but guess what, that never happens.

Question to Acer: Who is responsible for your Quality Assurance? Clearly my laptop was not properly tested before being sent out to me. That person should be fired, as he is incapable or inadequately trained.

Should I now just sit back and wait until Acer one day decide to help me?
