I lodged a claim on 21 October 2013 via my broker for power surge on my washing machine and laptop. Solvetech collected my machine and firstly said that my machine does not have a waterpump and wiring. After being rude Solvetech phoned me back and said that it was a mistake they will rectify it. My proof of where my machine was repaired during July 2013 was emailed to the assessor and proof that my laptop was also damaged. I claimed for my laptop on my motor policy. Now I must hear that my claim will be repudiated due to Solvetech and the assessor decided that my machine could not have work prior to the incident, which is as my machine came back from repairs on 26 July 2013. The assessor did not phone me and discuss the matter with me which I am unhappy with. I have got 2 daughters who is very sport active every day of the week and now I am battling without a machine since 20 October 2013. I hope that Solvetech has got their facts right as I will not be leaving this matter here. I am in the insurance industry and I know what the outcome will be if I submit a claim which is not legit and I get caught. Can someone just explain to me how could I have used my machine?
