My sewing machine needed a needle plate. Northside sewing & service Centre (operating as Singer) had stock of it. Paul refused to sell me the part without service the machine which was at an extra cost. I informed him the that machine had been serviced in the last month. He said he does not have any faith in other service industries, I had no choice but to leave the machine with him. He called me 3 days later to inform me that the machine had been repaired and the cost was R625.00. I picked up the machine only to discover that the tension was interferred with. I had to then take the machine back. He now starts to fault the thread and the needles used. He calls me a week later to inform me that he cannot repair the machine and that he will refund my money. I told him that was a perfectly working machine, he then started using fowl language. He is arrogant and rude. His talk is cheap. He has damaged a perfectly working machine to a totally useless one.
