UNREPONSIVE/COULDN'T-CARE-LESS! ATTITUDE

My Acer netbook had a screen crack which I do not know occurred how as I use it alone and extremely rarely. It is always in its protective sleeves and cover PLUS the additional case I bought. I contacted the call centre from where I bought it, explaining what transpired. The bone of contention I have is just the cold and "we-don't-give-a--about-your-sorry-excuse" attitude I have received. Irrespective of how much I explained and that it was NOT my doing, I was indirectly told I'm a, I damaged the netbook myself and trying to pull a fast one on Acer.

At 35, being the calibre of person I am, I seriously do not aspire to thinking what service provider I can rip off and I take exception to being treated like a high school kid who'll try every trick in the book to explain why a project wasn't completedon time! The issue is NOT about payment. In fact, had I been treated with respect and had I dealt with someone with an empathetic ear, I wouldn't have thought twice about paying for a damage I did not cause!

I hope the person who will receive this on behalf of the company will at least have the discretion and understand what my gripe is! HINT: NOT about the money!!!
