I also bought a RAYLITE battery for my car a year and a bit ago. (17th of March 2012) and we were also told that this is the best battery there is and is COMPLETELY MAINTENANCE FREE. It also says on the battery that it is Silver Calcium - MAINTENANCE FREE - NEVER ADD WATER. To my suprise the battery is ALSO giving me issue for the past two days. The car has to be pushed started..
There is no indication of where the water should be checked (Batery Centre) like oil etc and conveniantly my warreenty also expired on the 17th of March 2013. It was baught in Pretoria Grardens and I am staying in Johannesburg and taken in consideration the previous complaint I guess I will get the same BS stories but I have also send this complaint through to other relevant sources. I will not be charged for another batery they will replace it with a new mainatnce batery with no cost to me as the consumer. False advertising not just by Batery Centre but also by Raylite due to the fact that it is clearly printed on there product. Do not buy these bateries they will give you issues and as I have mentioned just as the warrenty expired. Perhaps another way of them makeing money out of consumers.
